Dryer Vent Cleaning Services

Once a year is recommended, but heavy use may require cleaning every 6 months.

Yes, we use vent cameras and specialized brushes to detect and remove deep blockages safely.

Lint is highly static and extremely flammable. It often accumulates in bends, around screws, and along duct walls — restricting airflow, overloading the dryer, and posing a significant fire risk. Regular cleaning prevents overheating, reduces energy use, and extends equipment life.

Yes, a few small preparations help our technicians work efficiently: Please remove furniture or items that might block access to your fireplace, appliances, vents, or work area. If possible, ensure the space is clean and safe for our equipment setup.

A standard service typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the type of work and the condition of your system or equipment. More complex repairs or combined services may take longer.

While some homeowners try to clean out a dryer vent themselves with a vacuum or a basic brush kit, most setups have bends, transitions, or roof/wall terminations that are difficult to reach without the right tools — and improperly cleaning a vent can sometimes push lint further in rather than out. Our technicians use professional-grade rotary brushes and high-powered vacuums to clear the full length of the duct, including sections inside walls or behind appliances that aren't accessible without disassembly. We also inspect the vent cap, ducting material, and connections during the visit, flagging anything that's outdated or installed incorrectly — common issues in older homes across Toronto and the GTA.

The exhaust vent is the section most prone to lint accumulation, especially around bends, joints, and long horizontal runs. Our dryer exhaust vent cleaning targets these problem areas specifically, using specialized brushes and vacuum equipment designed to reach deep into the ductwork without damaging it. Homes with vents longer than 25 feet, multiple bends, or older flexible ducting tend to need this service more frequently. If your dryer has started shutting off mid-cycle or showing error codes related to airflow, a blocked exhaust vent is usually the cause.

A clogged dryer vent isn't just an inconvenience — it's one of the most common causes of house fires in Ontario. Lint builds up inside the duct over time, restricting airflow and forcing your dryer to work harder with every load. Our dryer vent cleaning service clears the entire duct run, from the back of the dryer to the exterior vent cap, removing lint, debris, and any blockages along the way. Most homeowners don't think about their vent until laundry starts taking longer to dry or the laundry room feels unusually warm. By that point, the buildup is often substantial. We recommend cleaning the vent at least once a year — more often for larger households or longer duct runs.
